Working On Perspective

I don't draw so much lately. Somehow I'm obsessed about reading and I spend lots of time for it. I want to improve myself on perspective drawings. But I have to say that it's not easy for me. I always draw curved lines but now I need to draw straight lines. I hope it will be better soon. Here is my latest sketch. See you soon.

Easily Geotag Your Photos

Microsoft Pro Photo Tools 2 is a free software for editing metadata in photographs manually; including latitude, longitude, and other location details. There are more than that; you can also edit description, keywords, date and more. It means all about metadata. I was searching for a geotagger for a long time, I like to add geotags to photos (Offline) but I hate complicated softwares. Geaotagging is what I need and I don't want to mess with more than that. This software is exactly what I was looking for and I've found it finaly.

Winter Is Coming

I've noticed that I am much more productive in winter season. I didn't draw nearly a single drawing in the last few months. I quit painting few months ago because I had to focuse drawing but it didn't go the way like I planned. I totally forgot my plan. The summer is always hard to study something, unwanted or unexpected things finds me. At the same time, my job makes me Mr. Don't have empty time. Thanks God, winter is coming. Anyway, now I feel everything will be fine. (Actually, I started to draw again and it makes me peaceful.) I don't have any problem, my mind is clear, sketchbook and pencils are ready. BTW, this photo is taken by me an hour ago, I think it's a good scene maybe I should take a photo with a real camera, not with a phone.

Still Here

I haven't posted anything for a long time. I was so busy with my job. I did few sketches but not good for posting. I wrote about my new drawing course two months ago; I'm still studying. I met with a new drawing style and it works but looking like I've just started drawing... I guess, I'll have more free time to write and draw in winter season. So keep in touch, see you.

Pesimist Realist

I think I'm realist but realism makes me pesimist sometimes. I was at Istanbul last week. I decided to get on a boat on Sütlüce landing place. 13 Million population and I was totally alone in center of Istanbul at 5 PM. This kind of scenes makes people pesimist I guess. I felt myself alone and I'm still confused. I feel like; I'm missing something, something like life.

Sketches 013

I've been studying for the last two weeks gesture drawings (180 Sec.) by traditionally. I also signed up drawing-tutorials-online.com about two weeks ago. I think, it's the best place on internet for an online course and I don't have any option except it. Thanks god because it's really good and I believe I'll improve my drawings a lot in the future. drawing-tutorials-online.com is the only good thing about my last month. I don't know am I working right way or not but I feel there are some improvements on my drawing in two weeks... By the way; all sketches drew on a white page with graphite pencil but looking different. There is also something in drawing-tutorials-online.com about taking pictures of your drawings but I'm not ready for it yet.

Back To The Future With Android

There isn't Android Market in all Android phones. This is what I learned recently in hard way. I bought an Android phone without Android Market. I've never heard about something like this. Without market this phones are totally useless and trash. I searched for apps about few hours, it took awhile to discover there isn't a real app market and of course; it was a disaster.

Bloggers Get Ready For Google+

If you have a web site or a blog you should think about these tips for Google+ I have made some changes on my blog for Google+ and I thought it's good to talk about. Especially if you are a Blogger / Blogspot user read this.

When you share a web page on Google+; it looks for three things: Title, Image and Description.

Google Is Not Simple Anymore

I started to use Google Plus few days ago. Google is more aggressive this time. Think, which Google products you know and think all of them in one place. Google Plus is something all in one: Buzz, Wave, Reader Shared, Picasa Web, Blog, Orkut, etc.

First look; it's something cool but... Yes there is a "but" I can't stop thinking that what will I do with all other accounts?! I'm following same people and I see same sharing everywhere, this is a problem. This is the reason why I stoped to use Buzz. This is very confusing!

If I want to write a short text should I use Buzz, Reader or Plus? If I want to share a single image should I use Picasa, Blogspot, Buzz or Plus? If I want to share links should I use Buzz, Reader or Plus? Please Google, stop and remove your old projects, make my Google Accounts page clean! Google is not simple anymore it's more complicated!

BTW I don't have a Facebook account, I've never sign up, I've never wanted and I won't! It's just mess.

Untitled Painting 003

I've made a painting after a month. I'm not so productive because of the hot weather. It makes me tired. I do different things, when it happens, I don't want to get bored. Tonight, somehow I was feeling different... By the way, I guess I like Blogger's new layout and this is the first post on new layout. It's ready for http://draft.blogger.com/ users, you might want to take a look. It's little bit confusing your mind but not something you can't handle it. I like colors and style but still don't like the way how you follow other blogs. Anyway, hope they will make an update, it's still draft version... I was making a post for my new work, I know but what can I say about it. It's just a painting, there isn't any secret or meaning. I'm waiting any kind of critics or comments. Feel free!

New Beginning

As I said on my last post I was feeling like I'll start a new life. I thought, it's a chance to make some changes in my life. One of these changes is a new beginning on my blog. Now, I have a new vision and I've made some changes on my mission.

This blog is going to be my personal blog and I'll blog everything about my life. Art is a big part of my life so you'll keep seeing my sketches, paintings, etc. of course. Just, there will be more. I'm planning to blog about artistic recommendations, my thought (as possible as I can write), masters of art, etc.

From now on I'm a blogger who wants to be a great artist. I blog about my life and my journey to becomming an artist. Hope you'll join me on this journey.

After A Long Week

After a long week, I'm finished. I feel so tired but my mind is clear. I've done so many things at home and at work that makes my mind busy after a long time so I'm tired but so happy. There are few little things more of course but not important. I will start a new week tomorrow and I feel like I'll start a new life.

I've always a notebook in my pocket. I'm a busy man with confused mind for this reason I need to note down everything. I used to use my phone but it's not helping. Actually scratch on it when it's complated is a big fun and you don't have a chance to make it on your phone. :D

I've started to use Google's +1 (Plusone) on my blog as you can see, I've read so many good things about it; maybe you know, We'll see +1's on Google search and it will make you more popular so if you have a web site or a blog you should think about it, too. And please don't hesitade to test my plusones. :)

Gesture Will Work

Looking like gesture drawing will help me to make my drawing better. I've started to feel it. I'm more comfortable while I'm drawing and I can give movement to figure easily. Also I've started to try poses with little perspective. As you can see on my sketch book drawings, I'm better now. Not perfect yet but I have a hope; gesture drawing will work!

Let Me In Posters

I have watched Let Me In (Film). It's an American Horror-Romance film based on the Swedish film Let the Right One In and the novel of the same name by John Ajvide Lindqvist. I'm not going to talk about movie so that's it. If you have a chance, watch it! It made me feel like just after a car crash or something like that. Anyway.

Here is the reason of this post; I like posters and I liked this movies' so much, too. There are ten of them, same movie but different styles and there are more of them. These are just which I found! I've no any idea why there are so many posters but I can say they are very artistic and very impressive. Actually I thought little bit, there isn't any chance to describe this movie with a poster because; it's a Horror film but it's not the point! It's a Romance or a Dram movie. These kids crash your heart, not horrify you! So, if you want to make a poster for this movie; you should use these items: Love, Dram, Innocent Girl, Vampire, Poor Boy, Lost Lifes, Blood, etc... How can you make them together?

Lost In Drawing

I've decided to change my drawing style. My drawing stucks when it needs perspective. So I searched for old masters, what did they do or which style they used. Not surprised of course, they was using a style named "Gesture" I was know that but I wasn't know what gesture for. At the begining; I didn't need something like that. But now I'm thinking it's the only way to reach exactly what I need. I started to search and study about it by monday. I wasn't able to draw gesture drawing so it didn't work for me but I believe it will!

I'm going to use and study gesture drawing and then I'm planing to blend with my style. It will take a long time but as I say: "I don't have a hobby except drawing!"

YouTube Movies Vs. TV

I hate television since when I was a child. I've never catch a show on time, this happened to me all those years so we separated our ways. The last good thing that I remember about television is Alf. I was always at home at that age! Computers became my passion and I sold my television.

The Weather Is Getting Better

The weather is getting better day by day but I don't feel good somehow. There are few problems about my job but it's ordinary, I work with people so it's normal, am I right?

I need to feel better, this winter made me feel so tired. The sun is warming my face and the time is 19 o'clock. Usually, it's enought to make me happy but now I think, I need more than this. I feel like something missing and I have no any idea what is it! I was thinking that and than I've decided to write. It feels better, actually, writing is my old passion. Not in English ofcourse but maybe I can try to write in English sometime. What I'm trying to say is that I'll be writing in this month. Beware of me!
